I Fell Out of Love and Defied Gravity
Sometimes we forget that heart tissue is porous,
That tourniquets stop the blood but not the wound because
Blood decides on its own when it will be contained,
When it will dry, when it clots.
The heart is not a bone so it cannot be broken;
It’s a muscle that can weaken, can atrophy,
But gets stronger from the damage,
Built to grow from being ripped apart.
In the heart there are entrances and exits and
Everything about life is liquid but love is something you can breathe.
