Afterlife
Blackness as the sands
And darkness is beauty
For it ushers in daylight
I long to be dark skinned
Even though in my afterlife
In my afterlife
I was amazed by the fact
That the angel who echoed
My name from the book of
Life was dark skinned
Different from what I am
Life afterlife with Africa
There is a hope for my
Black skin in the city of
Gold not made with hands
When this racist realm is over
Please wake me up in the
Eternal oblivion that I am
Still an African by the way
As God has made me afterlife
Tell him who sits at the seat
Of power that even in my
Afterlife, the township of
My town is as gentle as
The heaven rays upward
In my afterlife I am Africa
In my afterlife I am black
In my afterlife I am beauty
In my afterlife I am original
In my afterlife I represent earth
