María José Maddox is a Chilean artist and public scholar based in Denver, CO. Her drawings and collages have been featured in multiple magazines, such as “Tiny Spoon,” “Third Wednesday,” and “Sassafras Literary Magazine.” She earned a Ph.D. in Latin American Literature from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2019. In the Summer of 2020 she co-founded the non-profit “Observatorio de las Américas” along with her friends and colleagues Juan García Oyervides and Javier Muñoz Díaz.
