Cedar Thomas (they/them) was born in South Minneapolis in 1998. Their mom has a notable career in the non-profit and public health work, and their dad is both a tech-wizard and a talented musician. Thomas enjoyed art from a young age and graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2020. Beginning with an interest in drawing and painting, they’ve developed an interdisciplinary practice and they enjoy experimenting with mixed media work combining writing, photography, collage, sculpture and more.
