I Sought a Peaceful Life
All the nights were the waterbowl
Filled with detergent swirling
The days were the blue rags
Spun by the spokesman’s wrist
My wish was to contain a cloud
Inside a test tube
And watch the components float
To invent a new marine animal
Similar to the cuttlefish
That lived because of these elements-
Because of neurons and buoyant cuttlebone
Once, I poured out all the
Swirling sediment
And observed the patch on the grass
Where the water had escaped
